The short version
Syft earns a small commission when you click a product link and make a purchase — paid by the retailer, at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep Syft free. It does not affect which products we recommend; that's determined entirely by your color season and style preferences.
How We Earn
Syft participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click a product link in the Syft feed and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer. These commissions come from the retailer's own marketing budget — you pay the same price you would pay by visiting the retailer directly.
This is how we fund the service and keep it free for you to use.
Affiliate Programs We Participate In
- Amazon Associates — We earn from qualifying purchases on Amazon.com.
- Skimlinks — Syft uses Skimlinks to automatically convert qualifying product links into affiliate links. Skimlinks works with thousands of retailers including fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. Skimlinks Privacy Policy
- CJ Affiliate, AWIN, Impact, Rakuten — We may participate in additional affiliate networks. When we do, links from those programs may appear in the feed.
We will update this list as we join additional programs.
Our Recommendations Are Independent
Products in your Syft feed are recommended by an algorithm that matches items to your color season — not by the size of a retailer's commission rate. Syft does not accept payment from brands or retailers to feature their products in your personalized feed.
The ranking and selection of items you see is based entirely on color palette compatibility, your style preferences, and behavioral signals (items you save or click on).

This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and the FTC's 2023 updated Endorsement Guides.
A notice also appears at the top of any page containing affiliate links within the app.
